Electronic Arts’ recent earnings call was full of juicy information that wasn’t just mind-numbing economics.

Aside from hinting that future EA games will support Smart Delivery and that the Command & Conquer Remastered collection is on track for a June release, the developer and publisher said there are more Star Wars games to come. Well, sort of.

While speaking about the company’s recent successes and thanking employees for being undeniably awesome for kicking ass from home, EA CEO Andrew Wilson mentioned Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and how it was the “first title in an entirely new franchise.”

Here’s the full quote:

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is one of the breakout titles of the last several years. More than 10 million unique players have joined the game since launch, a rare achievement for a first title in an entirely new franchise. It’s a meticulously well-crafted game, and it continues to give fans a deeply engaging and original Star Wars experience.

This isn’t exactly surprising as we’ve heard rumblings for a little while that Fallen Order would most likely see a sequel. Though EA and DICE are moving away from Battlefront 2, job listings have popped up looking for someone who is “passionate about the Star Wars Universe and is invigorated by the idea of coding third-person action/adventure games.”

EA did confirm, however, that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has sold more than 10 million units since it launched in November. In our review of the game, we said:

Despite some technical and pacing issues, the final product is still the best Star Wars game we’ve seen for years. It’s particularly impressive, given the current gaming landscape, where live service titles are more prevalent than ever, and real singleplayer epics are falling by the wayside.

If you’re still playing Fallen Order or looking to get started, the game recently received a new update bringing New Game+, combat challenges, and more. We’re sure to learn more in the coming months, so stick with GameSkinny for more on Star Wars and EA as we learn it.
