The Street Fighter 6 demo is now available on PlayStation platforms. Those hoping to play on PC and Xbox will have to wait a little longer.
At the end of Capcom’s Street Fighter 6 showcase stream today, the company announced that a demo version of its upcoming fighter would be available for PlayStation owners today. Playable on both PS4 and PS5, this demo will provide a small taste of the “World Tour” single-player campaign with the ability to create your avatar for when the main game launches.
Better still, you can take your progress over to the main game when it releases on June 2, 2023.

If you’re on Xbox Series X|S or PC, don’t fret. Capcom confirmed that the demo will be heading to those platforms on April 26, 2023. Sony likely paid to have short exclusivity on the demo, but no one will be left out in the cold here.
Along with the sampling of World Tour, the Street Fighter 6 demo will also let you delve into training mode with both Ryu and Luke. It’s maybe not the most representative of the game’s diverse roster, but having any kind of early-access to this hotly-anticipated game is cool.
Capcom also revealed what we can expect in the game’s Year 1 DLC. Street Fighter 6 will launch on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on June 2, 2023.
