Today Capcom released a short video from Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono. In the video, Ono shows off footage of Ryu and Chun-Li battling in a brand new Brazil stage for Street Fighter V. Ono then goes on to announce that Capcom will be revealing a brand new character at the Brazil Games Show in October.

Ono then switches into a costume of everyone’s favorite green, electricity generating mutant. While the most obvious answer is that Capcom is going to announce Blanka at the Brazil Games Show, there could be more than one surprise in store for fans.

In the Street Fighter universe, there are several characters who come from Brazil. One in particular is Ken’s one-time student from Street Fighter III, Sean.

Sean, while a fan favorite, has not been seen since 1999’s Street Fighter III: The Third Strike. Sean, if announced, would be the first Street Fighter III Character to make it in Street Fighter V‘s ever-growing roster. While at the moment Sean’s inclusion is just fan speculation. Sean’s appearance would make for a great addition to the roster.
