The Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League delay is official. When it comes to games that just can’t catch a break, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice is up there. After suffering blowback from fans about its always-online requirement and inclusion of battle passes, with reports it would be delayed into the second half of 2023, Rocksteady Games announced today that its DC-killing simulator will now launch on February 2, 2024.

In a post on the game’s official Twitter account, Rocksteady writes, “We have made the tough but necessary decision to take the time needed to work on getting the game to be the best quality experience for players.” It’s not hard to connect some dots and see that WB Games is looking to avoid the same situation WB Games ran into when Gotham Knights launched last year.
Rocksteady doesn’t detail if any changes are going to be made to the game, but with a 10-month delay now confirmed, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League could see some significant alterations between now and its projected 2024 release. What’s ultimately in store for the game remains to be seen.
For now, we only have this delay confirmation and the promise of more information to get revealed later in 2023. Rocksteady didn’t provide a specific date on when that should be expected, but stay tuned for more. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will release in 2024 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
