In Infinity Blade III, you’ll have the chance to play not only as Siris, the game’s main protagonist, but also as the enigmatic Isa from Infinity Blade 2. Both characters will have different weapons and armor to collect and upgrade, in addition to varied methods of combat.

Chair  is also touting an increased level of player decision in IB3 in comparison to the very linear model of the previous games. In IB3 the player will have a home base, aptly called the Hideout, from which they can choose from a plethora of strongholds to attack. The Hideout will also house allies that will be recruited by Siris and Isa along the way – allegedly to battle the games scary baddy The Worker of Dreams (voiced by Finge’s John Noble).

The online co-op portion of ClashMobs will also be returning in IB3, which will continue to allow players to cooperate and compete in game-wide events.

Infinity Blade III will release on September 18 for $6.99 on the App Store. It will be compatible with the iPhone 5S, 5C, 5, 4S and 4 in addition to the iPad 3, 2 and mini. And don’t worry iPod Touch users, you can get in on the fun too as long as you have the iPod Touch 5 or 4.

Will you be ClashMob-ing your way through Infinity Blade III next week? Sound off in the comments down below and maybe I’ll teach you some of that crazy gibberish that they spoke in IB that was totally abandoned in the subsequent games!
