TERA: Rising is going live in just a few hours, but if you wanted to get in on an Elite account of browse the cash shop, you’re going to have to wait a few extra days. Valkyon Outfitters, the game’s cash shop, is going to be down for a while.
The North American server’s free to play relaunch into TERA: Rising will be ready at 10AM PST (7AM EST), but the cash shop has been put on hold as to not delay the server opening.
The European server completed their maintenance and launched a few hours early. I believe their cash shop is currently up.

The Rising preview that aired on Twitch.tv earlier can still be found on the site (or above). It covers the Crucible of Flame and shows off some of the cool stuff that will be available in the Valkyon Outfitters later on. It looks like the first items available will be Winter-themed cosmetics, as snowsuits and the Snowdrift snow leopard mount can be seen in-shop during the video.
According to the EME-run Twitter, players who have a subscription currently running will be awarded Elite status as soon as they log in today. Those who do not have a subscription yet but do want to be upgraded to Elite will have to wait until the cash shop is back up and running.
Just going to wait for the TERA: Rising to come back up now. I have a lot of enchanting and messing with lowbies to take care of today.
