Halo 5: Guardians gets a hefty update with the Infinity’s Armory Pack. This new content will bring new maps, weapons, armor, assassinations, and cosmetics to the game.

Fans will be delighted to see the Halo 2 Battle Rifle coming to the arsenal with this DLC. The Atlas armor set, the Achilles armor set, and the Mark V Alpha armor set are all up for grabs in this update as well.

In order to obtain the full Achilles armor set, you must be a part of a Spartan company and get to level 5 in all the Kill Commendations, or reach level 3 for the body armor and level 5 for the helmet.

The two new maps, Urban and Riptide, seem to be the highlight of this update. Riptide is a new Arena multiplayer mode which aims to put a spin on Fathom. Urban is a new Warzone Assault map on Noctus that has great vantage points for snipers.

In addition to the new content, 343 is also planning to improve all the modes in the game,  adding new rules to discourage idling in-game, banning gamers who negatively affect the experience for others in the community, and enhancing the overall experience, specifically for Warzone.

The new REQ cards are coming as a part of the Infinity’s Armory. Players can spend real-world money to increase their collection of REQ cards and a portion of the money will go to fund the prize pool of the World Championship finals held in March.

There is no official date for the release of this free DLC, but this Friday, January 22nd, 343 Industries will be hosting a Halo 5: Guardians live-stream at 3 pm on Twitch.
