With the grim news of Uncharted 4 being pushed all the way back to Spring of 2016, fans of the title will at least have something to look forward to with a new announcement made by Naughty Dog. The team of developers who worked on The Last of Us‘ stellar multiplayer will also be developing the multiplayer for Uncharted 4.
In a recent tweet, Robert Cogburn, lead designer of Uncharted 3‘s multiplayer, added that he, Ryan Robert, and Quentin Cobb were all part of the team working on the multiplayer project.
For now, not much has been said or shown of the multiplayer portion of Uncharted 4, but anticipation must ensue with the announcement from Cogburn. With the raving reviews that surrounded the online game mode in The Last of Us, some enjoying it even more than the tear-jerking campaign, there is no denying that there is already a lot is to be expected of from the next Uncharted title. But if Naughty Dog is able to pull all the right strings like they did with the The Last of Us, there is no denying that Uncharted 4 is going to be a hit.
