If you’re a fan of The Legend of Zelda, chances are you have read at least one of the many Legend of Zelda mangas. These full-length volumes have been in circulation for some time, and retell the stories of each game by giving each Link their own style and character – including dialogue. Now the manga based on Twilight Princess which was originally limited to a Japanese app is finally getting a physical release for western audiences.
According to the official Akira Himekawa Facebook page, the duo of authors responsible for the Legend of Zelda manga series, the English version of the manga will be published by VizMedia. An official German version will also be released by TOKYOPOP Deutschland. Unfortunately, the team does not know when the publishers will release further details such as publication dates or pricing.

This news comes alongside a press release by Viz Media in which they state that a new “The Legend of Zelda: Legendary Edition” series that will new counters and color artwork. The prints will also be in a larger 5-3/5″ x 8-1/4″ format. The first volume of the Legendary Edition will be priced at $17.99 USD ($21.99 CAD) and will contain The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Parts 1 and 2.
