A Portuguese website has leaked official box art and several new details on the highly anticipated game, The Sims 4. The next sequel in the Sims franchise is not slated for release until sometime in 2014, but that didn’t stop the site from releasing several screenshots of the game. You can view the screenshots below.
It is interesting that by looking at these screenshots, we see hardly any changes in terms of graphics, which is surprising given the long length of time that has occurred between The Sims 3 till now. Are these screenshots from an early alpha or beta phase in development? Probably. There is still plenty of time for the dev team to up the graphics. As far as gameplay, it looks like The Sims 4 will be every bit as fun and engaging as all of the other previous Sims. Here’s to hoping for more countless nights of dreams of speaking Sim-lish.
The Sims 4 is expected to release on the PC in 2014.
