Today the first gameplay footage of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was leaked on to the internet. The video is poor quality but you get to see what looks like the opening mission of the game. Remember, this scene is from pre-alpha and might not be anything like this in the finished game.
The first part of the video features Geralt beating the crap out of a few guys who are trying to hang a woman. That part ends with Geralt hanging one of the attackers in her stead. The video then cuts a bit to gameplay footage. We get to see a bit of the actual world we will be running around in, and for pre-alpha, it is looking pretty good. Once Geralt starts running through the forest we see what looks like him using some sort of tracking ability. We also get to see a bit of basic magic when he summons fire to kill a flock of birds, and a bit of swordplay as he kills a few wolves.
Overall this looks amazing, I have loved The Witcher games since the first and I am super excited to see what the third is going to bring us. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set to release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the PC. There is no official release date yet but it is currently set to release in 2014 sometime.
