The popular classic games digital distributor, GOG.com recently launched one of its biggest sales of the year to open the holiday season. Like every other sale, there is a headliner deal that is unique to the platform and that is The Witcher series. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is currently being discounted at 50% off, along with the rest of the games in the series getting discounts of up to 85%.
GOG.com has also bundled several other major franchises with heavy discounts that include Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer and Star Trek. The sale ends on November 29, so get in on these deals while you can.
The deals are as follows:
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition – 85% off – $1.49
- The Witcher 2: Assassin’s of Kings: Enhanced Edition – 85% off – $2.99
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – 50% off – $29.99
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt: Hearts of Stone Expansion – 10% off – $8.99
- The Witcher: Adventure Game – 70% off – $2.99
- Dungeons & Dragons: Classic Bundle – up to 80% off – $21.10 (10 games: includes Baldur’s Gate, Planescape: Torment, Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights games)
- Dungeons & Dragons: Gold Box Bundle – up to 50% off – $33.92 (18 games: includes three tomes of Forgotten Realms: The Archives, Al-Qadim, Dark Sun, Krynn, Ravenloft, and others.)
- Warhammer Bundle – up to 50% off – $13.96 (4 games: Final Liberation: Warhammer Epic 40,000, Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate, Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat, Warhammer 40,00: Rites of War.)
- Star Trek Bundle – up to 60% off – $9.56 (4 games: Star Trek: 25th Anniversary, Starfleet Academy, Starfleet Command, Judgment Rites.)
Quick Take: GOG.com may not have the deepest library among the major digital games distributors, but you can expect to get a great game every time you buy. If you’ve been waiting on Wild Hunt for any reason, GOG.com’s deal is just about the best there is. Price wise, Steam and GOG.com are identical, but getting the game DRM-free (which is GOG’s major sales pitch) is nice.
