The first round of Minecraft Dungeons DLC dropped in July with the promise of more on the way. Mojang made good on that promise in a recent update announcing that the Minecraft Dungeons Creeping Winter DLC will release September 8 — alongside a couple of other big updates.

The second round of Minecraft Dungeons DLC is pretty much what you’d expect from a name like Creeping Winter.

A massive winter storm spreads over the world of Minecraft Dungeons, bringing with it deadly frost, new mobs, and, of course, hordes of new gear and artifacts to get your hands on. It’s all wrapped up in a series of new missions you’ll take on to try and stop the deadly frost from snuffing out life as we know it.

A free update for Minecraft Dungeons is also releasing on September 8, introducing Daily Trials and fun with merchants. You’ll periodically encounter merchants in need of rescuing as you go about your usual adventuring. And if you’re nice enough to actually rescue them, they’ll move to your camp and open up shop.

Daily Trials are challenges what they sound like: challenges that alter normal gameplay rules and test your skills. The two merchants are the Gift Wrapper and the Blacksmith. The former will let you send items to other players, while the latter will fix up your weapons and make them stronger.

Finally, a physical edition for fun-but-sparse Diablo-lite is launching for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on September 8. That’s a lot of Minecraft Dungeons.
