The upcoming open-world, action adventure game Mafia 3 will be releasing next month on October 7th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Ahead of this launch, publisher 2K Games has released the system requirements for PC. And to make things interesting, they released it on old school looking magazine ad. For players who are interested in Mafia 3 and value PC over consoles, take some notes.
As far as the requirements go, they’re nothing too demanding. 2K recommends a GTX 780 or a GTX 1060 for Nivida cards, and the recommended AMD GPU is a Radeon R9 290 X. This is good news for PC players, because these aren’t the most powerful graphic cards out there, which means players won’t have to spend more money if they want to upgrade their PC for this game. Here is a detailed list of the minimum requirements and the recommended requirements.
Minimum PC System Specs:
- Processor: Intel i5-2500k or AMD FX-8120
- RAM: 6 GB
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD7870
- Video Memory: 2 GB
- Storage: 50 GB
Recommended PC System Specs:
- Processor: Intel i7-3770 or AMD FX 8350 4.0 GHz
- RAM: 8 GB
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780, GTX 1060, or AMD Radeon R9 290X
- Video Memory: 4 GB
- Storage: 50 GB
Thankfully, it looks like nothing that will empty bank accounts. A decent RAM size and the less expensive graphic cards will help players save money and get the gaming experience they want for Mafia 3.
