We all know about that very private alpha test, which has received plenty of attention. But what about a beta?
It seems logical that developer Respawn Entertanment would conduct a beta test for Titanfall, and that announcement could be just around the corner. Some recently discovered promotional material indicates that the test will begin on February 14 and conclude on February 19. To add fuel to the fire, Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella offered the following Twitter tease:
Yes, we will have an announcement soon. I’m sure no one can guess what it will be… #supersecret

The leaked material, if accurate, says we can only get into the beta if we pre-order Titanfall at GameStop in the US. Retailer Micromania in France appears to be offering the same deal. It all sounds plenty plausible; pre-ordering often gives us entry to beta tests, so that’s no big surprise.
Of course, there are usually other ways of snagging a beta code. Chances are, Respawn will give gamers multiple chances of getting into that test.
This is one game you definitely wanna test
Titanfall is a very important title for Microsoft’s new Xbox One. The hype is absolutely through the roof and gamers are expecting something very special. That being the case, Respawn should be testing this sucker constantly. Every chance they get. The more they can fix and tweak before the game is on store shelves, the better off they’ll be.
