Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Patriots Is Now Next Gen

When will we finally see this next Rainbow 6 official release date announced?
This article is over 11 years old and may contain outdated information

Originally announced in 2011 to be for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, it now has been decided by Ubisoft that Rainbow 6 Patriots is for the next-gen consoles. The game touches on real life issues in American society. You are apart of Team Rainbow charged with capturing American terrorists known as the ‘True Patriots’.

“…This is for the jobs you streamlined. The debts you collected. This is for the homes you foreclosed on. The bailouts you took…It’s time for a new balance of power. You may not answer to the governments, but you will answer to us.”

The words of the True Patriots ring scarily true. Ubisoft has stated that in the game you will face “tough ethical decisions”, and given the subject it’s not hard to believe.

The game’s official release date has not yet been announced. It was missing from this week’s E3, though besides Ubisoft’s CEO assurance that it is still alive and well not much else is known of the game’s fate.

I'm a 29 year old Jersey girl who loves games. I currently work full time, volunteer part time at this awesome non-profit called Amman Imman, and go to school part time. I also train in jiu jitsu. So time isn't quite on my side (unlike that song says). I have been trying unsuccessfully for years to clone myself so I can devote one of me to boring stuff like working and laundry - thus allowing more time for gaming. I'm willing to offer large sums of imaginary money to any who can make this happen.
