Ubisoft is venturing back into eSports to start the second season of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Pro League for Xbox One.
Players from Europe and North America will compete to be the current champion of Rainbow Six Siege. Players will compete for 2 months to reach the Season Finals and claim part of the $75,000 prize pool.
To qualify for the second season, the top four teams amassed the most points in the qualifying events in the middle of May. Those two teams secured their place for the season.
The game is made up of six counter-terrorist unit operators. The Rainbow Six is a team of the best Special Force units from around the world: The British SAS, the American SWAT, the French GIGN , the German GSG9 and the Russian Spetsnaz.
The game offers three different multiplayer modes: hostage, secure area and bomb. A solo or team playing mode called Terrorist Hunt puts the players in hostile situations. Solo training situations help players adjust to the mechanics of game and can be played in normal, hard or realistic.
Even though the game came out late last year in December, the second season of the pro league and all the excitement begins Monday.
