Have a PlayStation 4? Waiting for some good games to come out soon? This May, another title to add to your PS4 list is coming our way: Transistor. Supergiant Games, creators of the hit game Bastion, is putting the finishing touches on the game, and it looks like it’s shaping up just fine.
Supergiant will be at PAX East this weekend to show off Transistor
They will have a near-final build for people to get their hands on. In the month until release, Supergiant Games will release more information on Transistor.
Transistor is a sci-fi themed action RPG that has you wielding a mysterious and powerful weapon through a beautiful futuristic city. Battle will combine strategic planning with fast-paced action, with a tale told through rich story telling. You play as heroine Red, a young singer who wields the mysterious Transistor. She now must figure out the mysteries surrounding the Transistor, while pursuing its former owners who tried to kill her.
Release Date, Price, and Languages for Transistor
Transistor will release on the PlayStation store May 20, 2014. The game will cost $19.99. For those in other parts of the world, the game will have English voiceover, but will have text in English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Russian, and Brazilian Portuguese. The game will also be available for all those PC players out there.
When I decided to get a Playstation 4, Transistor was one of the first games to catch my eye
It looks beautiful, and what I have heard of the soundtrack sounds amazing. Supergiant Games did an amazing job on Bastion, so I have a lot of hope for Transistor. It is one of my most anticipated games of this year, and I am glad that it has finally been given a release date.
Now I just have to wait a little while longer.
