After a very lengthy Early Access period, Frozenbyte’s Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power is finally available to the public, and on sale until August 27th.
The Artifacts of Power is a special new take on the Trine adventures, as for the first time it will be available in 3D; it’s previous two predecessors were 2D side-scrolling adventures. Now you will be able to solve puzzles and defeat enemies among the detailed, fantastical scenery and design within which you can immerse yourself.
In The Artifacts of Power, you will be able to play as three familiar friends: Pontius the knight, Amadeus the wizard, and Zoya the thief. The three have their same abilities, but new, detailed looks to check out up close with the new game perspective.
You can still switch between the three characters, too. It’s an up to three-player co-operative multiplayer experience as they embark on their new adventure together. Only this time, you will be more immersed in the world than the previous Trine games through its 3D interaction.
If you’d like to experience the whole Trine series, the previous games are on sale as well in special packages on Steam. You can buy the Trineology game package for the complete Trine series, or the Frozenbyte Collection 2015 game package for the Trine series and the Shadowgrounds series, also from Frostbyte.
Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power is exclusively for Windows PC at the moment, but Frozenbyte announced plans to make available editions for Mac and Linux before 2016.
