One of the most significant aspects of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series is the playable character’s amazing ability to move through any area with ease. Even if that means climbing to the top of tall buildings then diving off into haystacks below. In order to promote the next game in the series, Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Ubisoft is offering fans a chance to see what it’s like to perform moves like an assassin from the game.
The game developer has teamed up with Michael Zernow, Chief Parkour Officer at Ubisoft, and the Tempest Freerunning Academy, to bring “a special parkour course” to this year’s San Diego Comic Con.
In the above video, Zernow describes the course’s sections, which include swinging from one platform to another, running across “a narrow ledge while dodging canon balls,” “the leap of faith,” and more.
Not sure you have what it takes? No need to worry. According to Zernow, the course is such “that anyone can run it.” Also, Zernow and other parkour experts will “be right there with you, every step of the way.” Plus, you’ll get a free T-shirt, so why not?
There is also a way for anyone unable to attend Comic Con to watch “daily re-caps” of the event, which starts July 24th. You can check that out, here.
