Naughty Dog has an objective to make all of its Playstation 4 releases look amazing. Eurogamer reports that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be no exception. Since successfully creating The Last of Us: Remastered at 1080p and 60fps, Uncharted 4 is aiming to equal the quality.

This years E3 showed us trailers for both The Last of Us: Remastered, Naughty Dog’s first game on their PS4 engine, and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.  You can’t deny the improvement in graphics. Nathan Drake is shown waking up, you can see the wrinkles and sweat on his face, you can watch his face shadows change as he gets up, it’s all strikingly realistic.

Luckily for some of us, in an interview with Eurogamer, Naughty Dog insinuates that a 30fps option will be available, as it is with the The Last of Us: Remastered

“When we came out and said we’re trying to hit 60, we saw that there’s a lot of debate between that, so why not cater to both sides of that,” Meyer said of the option to include a 30fps lock. “If you’ve really got a strong preference for that, why not provide that customisation for you?”

The interview also sheds light on the possibility of remastering the previous Uncharted games. Imagine going back to Nathan Drake’s very first adventure, all in 1080p.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End doesn’t have a release date yet, but will likely be coming in 2015. You can, however, check out the 1080p 60fps graphics later this month, when The Last of Us: Remastered releases July 29th.

Hello! I'm Val, a 23 year old college graduate. I've been interested in video games since I was very young, Pokemon being my first (and constant) love. Along the years I have become attached to RPGs and adventure games. I play League periodically (not well), but apart from that, I don't play anything online nor competitively (Though I was a frequent TPP player and I've logged onto GTA Online a few times...). I tend to prefer solo games, unless it's with people in the same room. In those cases, Mario Party, Little Big Planet, Quake, and more, all the way! I am really into anime and try to keep up with the new ones season by season (so many). And yeah I have no idea if I'm writing this right, but thank you for reading!
