Amazon recently updated its page for pre-orders and has finally given us the cover of Naughty Dog’s highly anticipated Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
Interesting that the cover art has already been circulated and released to the public as promotional art. Although simple, the cover really captures a melancholy sentiment, entirely appropriate if this game is truly Nathan Drake’s last adventure, as Naughty Dog has advertised it.
So far most of the information about Uncharted 4 has been rather general and sparse. Its release date had been confirmed and moved back to the first half of 2016. However, on May 27th during Sony Computer Entertainment’s Investor Relations Day conference, Andrew House specifically stated that Uncharted 4 will definitely be released before April.
Despite the initial release date pushback, Uncharted 4’s gameplay looks amazingly beautiful and innovative so is undoubtedly worth the wait.
Although the next game release in the Uncharted Series is a long way off, Sony has announced that Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will hit shelves on October 9 in North America and October 7 in Europe.
This new Uncharted bundle brings all three Uncharted games together in one collection on PS4. Clearly this is Sony and Naughty Dog’s attempt at prepping for Uncharted 4‘s later release.
With E3 quickly approaching, more will hopefully be revealed about both Uncharted 4 and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. For all your Uncharted needs and news, stay tuned to GameSkinny.com.
