The developers behind SoulCalibur 6 wanted to know the answer and decided to put it to the test. To do it properly, they sought the assistance of world-renowned fencer and Team USA Olympic Bronze Medalist, Miles Chamley-Watson.

In the video, Chamely-Watson shows off his skills against SoulCalibur 6 producer, Motohiro Okubo. And … it’s a sight to behold.

With SoulCalibur 6 nearly upon us, it will be interesting to see if all the research Bandai Namco put into the game’s development pays off — and feels real. You can check the video in the header above, and then compare the fencing here to that of the recently unveiled Raphael here
