Cross play functionality will be for the turn-based strategy game’s multiplayer mode, where players will be able to jump into PvP through regular matchmaking or invite their friends to join in on the action no matter what console or device they’re playing on.

Recently, developer Gasket Games released a series of trailers outlining the different factions fans will be able to choose from and lead in the game: the Nighthant, the Maggotkin, and the Stormcast Eternals, respectively. Each faction can be customized and molded to different playstyles, though they also have their own unique abilities that make each of them an enticing option to take into battle.

Those who pre order Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground will be able to take advantage of a special discount and receive the Spoils of War Weapon Pack, which includes an exclusive weapon for each of the three factions.
