Wargaming’s World of Tanks has just rolled out onto the PlayStation 4. Players all over the world are now able to battle each other in 15v15 tank combat, with vehicles from three different nations.
The nations available at release are the original three nations from the game’s PC launch: the United States, Germany, and the Soviet Union. There are five distinct vehicle classes that are playable for each country: heavy tanks, medium tanks, light tanks, tank destroyers, and self-propelled guns (SPGs).
The announcement on the official WoT website also states that players will be able to receive a ‘Beta Exclusive Tank’:
“As a bonus, be sure to log in to your Garage on PlayStation 4 to receive the U.S. T1E6-PS, an exclusive Beta reward tank available only until the end of January.”
Details were also released about an iconic premium vehicle only available to Playstation Plus subscribers. Wargaming wrote:
New and existing players subscribed to PlayStation Plus will get access to a very unique Premium vehicle: the exclusive German Pz.Kpfw. II Ausf. J-PS! The Pz.Kpfw. II J-PS reaps all the benefits of being a Premium vehicle, comes with its own Garage Slot, and includes an extra three days of Premium!
If you play on the PS4 and are keen to get into World of Tanks, then the timing could literally not be better, so take advantage of all these release deals before the end of January.
