World of Warcraft has been a staple in the gaming community for years. We’ve seen it through expansion after expansion. Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm, and now Mists of Pandaria have all expanded the world of Azeroth and brought new races and classes to the game.
But that’s not all that has changed.
Battle Chests are bundles that allow gamers to get the base game and its expansions in one easy purchase. Originally, the Battle Chest was a box set of World of Warcraft and Burning Crusade. It also featured a guide for each game and a couple of Guest Pass Keys. This edition cost $39.99.
Since then, the Battle Chest has been available via digital download. This edition featured World of Warcraft, Burning Crusade, and Wrath of the Lich King. At only $19.99, it was a steal.
Now, Blizzard has added Cataclysm to their newest edition of the Battle Chest, leaving only Mists of Pandaria as a separate purchase. Like its predecessor, this bundle will cost a mere $19.99 and is online now. A physical box set should be in stores soon.
