After a couple of grueling rounds thus far (click for Round 1 Results and Round 2 Results) this one end’s in a TKO. I found this image on PS4Daily.com, and I feel it wraps this console fight up in a nutshell.
It’s pretty obvious who the clear winner is here. With almost countless indie titles being the focus, complimented with a few strategic triple A titles like Killzone: Shadow Fall and Knack, the PlayStation 4 is head and shoulders above the competition.
Sony may have won the fight today, but we still have a decade of exclusives, innovation, and an unstable market to decide the future of either contender. As Sony was the loser at the beginning of last generation’s launch, they seemed to have trained extensively for this event.
With heavy budgets swinging for the fences of dominance in your living room, we can all sit back and reap the benefits of a competitive industry. So save me a seat, I’ll go grab the popcorn because, in reality, it’s only just begun.
