The Legend of Zelda for Wii U is probably one of the most anticipated games of 2017. Everyone will be able to tune in to the E3 2016 livestream at 9 am PT to see gameplay. However, there was an opportunity for some to play the game for themselves earlier today.
Tomorrow! Be one of the first 500 in line @NintendoNYC by 9 a.m. ET to sign-up to play the new #Zelda for #WiiU! https://t.co/URWEFVaVkY

Nintendo of America tweeted yesterday that today, June 11th, the first 500 people at Nintendo New York City would be able to play the game. In order to secure a spot, fans had to head to Nintendo New York City to receive a wristband. Only the first 500 in line by the time the store opened at 9 am received a wristband. This guaranteed that they could play The Legend of Zelda for Wii U between 6/14 – 6/19.
Those who received a wristband will receive a ticket with a designated date and time to play at the store. After that, all they have to do is go the store at their designated time to play the latest Legend of Zelda game!
