After four years, Brian Reynolds is finally calling it quits with Zynga, a popular social developer known for games such as Words with Friends and Farmville. Reynolds founded the Baltimore office of Zynga, which released Frontierville in 2010.

Before Zynga, Reynolds was a founder of Civ developer studio Firaxis Games and worked there until 1999.
Zynga now faces its rather rough-looking future short one great designer. After an insane round of layoffs, the company is now seated with a high-profile lawsuit from EA–who claims that the Ville, a popular Zynga game, is simply a clone of The Sims Social, EA’s even more popular Facebook game.
