Warframe Guide: How to Get Kuva Lich

Warframe’s new update, The Old Blood, brings a host of new features to the game, including the Kuva Lich system. In it, you can inadvertently (or purposefully, as this guide will show) create your very own personal nemesis, a randomly generated Kuva Lich. But first, you need to find a Kuva Larvling. 

Kuva Liches are created when a Kuva Larvling spawns into a 20+ Grineer mission and is killed by the player. While just about any Grineer mission over 20 will do the trick, I’ve personally found one particular mission to be a pretty sweet spot for generating Kuva Larvling.

How to Find a Kuva Larvling in Warframe

The best place to find a Kuva Larvling in Warframe is on Cassini, Saturn. Since it demands the minimum level requirement, and it’s a Capture mission, you can use Cassini, Saturn to complete your mission very quickly if you have a good arsenal.

Kuva Larvling Spawning

Eventually, your screen will shudder, indicating an enemy invasion (e.g. a Stalker, unhappy Faction, or Hunters). Afterward, you’ll receive a message from a Kuva Guardian, such as “Test Subject injected. They will rise or die.” This message means that a Kuva Larvling has spawned into your mission.

You’ll see a red marker that will lead you to the Kuva Larvling. Find the Larvling. What you do from there is up to you.

The Kuva Larvlings are incredibly weak and typically die in one hit, but killing one will create a Kuva Lich, which will become your own personal nemesis and haunt some corner of the Sol System.
