With the recent release of Necromunda: Hired Gun and Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground, as well as a handful of other Warhammer games announced during the recent Warhammer Skulls showcase, the Warhammer franchise is expanding at what seems to be an exponential rate. Now there’s a new 2D, shooter platformer on the way in the form of Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef.
Developed by Rogueside, the team behind Guns, Gore & Cannoli, this new Warhammer experience will feature a bevy of new weapons, unique classes, and online and local co-op.
Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef will have players step into the shoes of a savage warrior from the Green Tide, and it’s their job to lead an Ork invasion through the city of Luteus Prime and achieve vengeance.
The Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef trailer really shows off the intense and chaotic combat encounters that players will face, along with the vibrant and detailed world design. This is the first expansion into 2D for the Warhammer franchise, and it will be launching on all platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch sometime in 2022.
As of this writing, there’s no firm release, nor are there too many concrete details, but stay tuned for more.
