Mojang just accidentally announced a new update to Minecraft a bit ahead of schedule. The information appeared on Minecraft before a blogpost was revealed regarding the updates. According to Searge, one of the developers of Minecraft:
Some buttons were pressed in the wrong order, so let’s just pretend 1.10 is not already available until we have the blog post ready…

The new update is aptly called “The Frostburn Update” due to the cold nature of the changes added to the game.
Mojang said “The update contains changes for both the coldest and hottest areas of the Minecraft world. Polar bears roam the frozen plains, and a stronger kind of zombie may approach you in the deserts. There are also other additions you may find pleasant.”
Other major additions to Minecraft include: bug fixes, magma blocks, underground fossils and Endermen in the Nether.
The latest Minecraft update,1.09 dropped back in February. There is currently no information on the release date for the next update.
