To unlock the first Shooting Range, you’ll need to reach the Merchant next to the Quarry lake in Chapter 3. Not only does the Merchant’s shop look bigger when you arrive, but there’s also an elevator to the right of the shop that takes you down to a Shooting Range.

Head to the end of the room and ring the bell to pull up the Shooting Gallery challenges. From there, you’ll need to complete the challenges to earn either silver or gold tokens. The higher your score, the rarer the coin.

Ammo in the Shooting Range is unlimited — no matter if you’re using the SG-09, the Red9 handgun, the TMP, or even the Bolt Thrower — and you can retry each challenge as many times as you want until you achieve the high scores for each challenge.

It’s important to note that this is only the first Shooting Gallery in RE4 Remake. There are multiple locations to unlock as you progress.

Other Shooting Galleries unlock in:

  • Chapter 9 in a room to the right of the Grand Hall.
  • Chapter 11 in the Mines (Depths) below the Castle.
  • Chapter 14 in the Facility 1 Storage past the Holding Cell area.

Finally, these challenge areas also require you to use specific weapons in specific sections, so you’ll need to be proficient in all of them to gain the high scores.

To get Charms with Shooting Range tokens, head to the Gacha machine next to the elevator, and use the tokens you’ve earned to roll for a Charm.

You’ll need 3 tokens to roll for a Charm; using 3 gold tokens will give you the highest chance of earning a rarer Charm. You can also mix token types (2 silver tokens, 1 gold token, etc.), but this will yield a lower chance of earning a rarer Charm.
