SS-Tier Stands

Planet Shaper

Planet Shaper is currently the most powerful legendary stand in the game. It’s also the only stand that can teleport across different parts of the map. Unlike most stands in the game, Planet Shaper has several extremely strong movesets, such as Full Send, Dash Attack, Deva Station, Breakneck Assault, and Monstrous Roar.

The World

Here’s the best close-range stand in the game, who has the power to stop and move through time. Note that this stand evolves from Shadow DIO. The only way to evolve him is to give him the Blood of Joseph, which can be obtained in the Central Wilds. Alternatively, you could craft Shadow DIO from three rare The World shards from the Ability Banner.

XENO

XENO is a more powerful version of King Crimson, which can be unlocked after obtaining the Monochromatic Orb. Note that this item can be picked up only from the legendary loot crates. The main reason why I placed XENO in the top tier is that all of his projectiles have auto-tracking that reach their targets no matter how far away they run.

S-Tier Stands

Star Platinum Requiem (SPR)

One of the best craftable stands in the New Universe is Star Platinum Requiem, also known as SPR. My favorite part about SPR is the Timestop ability, which grinds time to a halt, freezing all nearby targets and projectiles for a short period of time. You can either reposition to take a defensive stance or attack your enemies until they’re still immovable. If you like this stand, then be sure to craft it using these ingredients:

• 1x Star Platinum
• 1x Cursed Orb
• 1x SPR Shard

Dragon Knight

Dragon Knight is actually a special stand that has the ability to resurrect after gaining 100 Heat. You can revive only once, but all your stats will be buffed after being revived except your HP. If you want to quickly reach 100 Heat, I’d recommend using the Wyrm’s Roar moveset, which isn’t just powerful but also generates at least 40 Heat.

Shadow The World Requiem (STWR)

This stand combines heavy physical damage and energy projectiles. Use his Shadow Barrage move to hit a target enemy with a series of quick strikes and the final punch that together deal 62 points of damage. His Shadow’s Energy projectile serves as an AoE that strikes everyone within the range. The best part about it is that you can charge it up for some time to deal even more damage, but this will also leave you defenseless for some time.

A-Tier Stands

Sakuya

This stand is especially interesting due to her Timestop and Killing Doll ability. The first one allows time to slow down, allowing you to deal precise hits or dodges. While the second one shoots a barrage of knives at the target enemy, dealing up to 90 points of damage. The knives on the last move have a wide range, which may serve as a type of AoE, and the damage is really high with a relatively low cooldown of only 10 seconds.

Nocturnus

This stand may not have as short cooldown times as Gojo, but his damage output is pretty much the same. Additionally, almost all of his attacks deal bleed damage, which compensates for slightly higher cooldown times. His three best moves are Leash Slash, Gnash Slash, and Flash Slash. Each of these attacks can deal up to 50 points of damage, which is on par with Gaster, the current top-tier character.

The World Over Heaven (TWOH)

TWOH is infamous for his combos that are hard to dodge or avoid by any means. His LMB Combo involves left kick, right kick, left punch, and a stomp. The combo happens so fast that many can’t do anything about it and just have to take the 50+ points of damage in the process.

B-Tier Stands

Sans

Speaking of dodging combos, Sans is exactly the character you need if you want to avoid hits. His Bone Guard and HEH moves allow Sans to suspend all enemies in the air in the first case, or to teleport behind their backs in the second case. There is also Bait that distracts enemies from catching up with you. All his moves are truly unique, but all of them have high learning curve.

Chrono Warden

This is a highly specialized stand that focuses not on combat but mostly on time manipulation and dilation. This allows you to perform various combos, such as time anchors to move around or stopping your opponent in their tracks. I find this set of abilities very practical, although they may not be everyone’s favorite. That’s why I placed it only in the B-tier for now.

King Crimson

King Crimson is a decent character that has some good attacks, but his most distinctive feature is the King Crimson Disguise ability. This move allows you to temporarily take on a totally different persona, including your username on the server. This will completely puzzle your enemies, for totally understandable reasons! Pick him up if you want to play funny games with your server buddies.
