Boosting your hero, Cal Kestis, is integral in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. You’ll be able to earn additional skill points that can be allocated to useful abilities. Here’s our guide to help you level up and earn XP fast in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
How to Level Up and Earn XP Fast in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
For starters, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor technically doesn’t have a level cap. This means you can continue to earn XP to your heart’s content, thereby acquiring all the skills you need. That might take a while, but don’t worry since there are ways to speed things up.
Sources of XP
But first, let’s list down the methods of earning XP in the game:
- Defeating enemies
- Taking out Legendary Enemies
- Completing main quest objectives and sidequests
- Discovering new locations
- Interacting with XP-boosting Essence Crystals
- Scanning objects
- Clearing Force Tear challenges
- Important Force Echoes (i.e., those at the end of major arcs show a dialogue between characters, giving you a lot of XP)
How to Increase XP Gains
A tried and tested method to speed up your leveling is to find a decent spot where you can kill hostiles as quickly as possible. Likewise, if there’s an elite foe that you can battle, you can make it respawn by resting at a Meditation Circle. This lets you farm that target over and over.
Similarly, to earn more XP and level up faster in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you’ll want to grab two perks:
- Wisdom – Increases XP gained from defeating enemies; costs three slots.
- Gambler – Increases XP gained but you will no longer be able to restore upon death; costs four slots.
Wisdom can be purchased from Zee at Pyloon’s Saloon by exchanging Datadiscs. Gambler, meanwhile, is obtained by defeating the Sutaban Legendary Beast in Jedha (which also happens to require a means of passing through green barriers).
You can equip these by interacting with a Meditation Circle and checking the Perks menu. Just remember that each one requires slots to be available.
When equipped, you should be able to earn more XP in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, given how often you’re killing enemies in your path. If you’re using Gambler, though, be forewarned that it’s risky, as you won’t be able to restore if you die. As such, you don’t want to use it when you’re up against tougher mobs or bosses or if you’re playing on a higher difficulty mode.
In any case, that’s how to earn more XP quickly and level up fast. To learn more about the game, you can visit our Star Wars Jedi: Survivor guides hub.
