From the day I learned to drive I wanted to drive trucks. Semi trucks, to be precise. Euro Truck Simulator 2 gives you just that kind of opportunity. With the gameplay, graphics, and other features I really felt the need to bring this game to GameSkinny.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 is a semi simulation game. You literally are focused on speed, time, gas, and much, much more. This game is extremely eye-pleasing to every car/racing gamer I know personally. As a friend stated:
[Euro Truck Simulator 2] is amazing! I played it for the whole of the 5 hours you were gone shooting videos!
I will have you know he did almost overheat my laptop.
The game has some fantastic elements. Some of which are the lighting, the audio, the graphics, and just everything.
Now to the reason Euro Truck Simulator 2 does not get its big ten out of ten break, the game placed some fantastic qualities. Almost all of it was great, except the way you have to drive if you accidentally choose manual. Forget you can switch to auto mid-drive and it’s pretty serious. You also need a decent computer to even barely run the game. I would recommend this game to so many people but NOT to anyone who is not serious about semi trucks.
Specs:
Graphics: A solid 10/10. This game displays exceptional qualities when it comes to graphics. Even on its lower settings it still retains a lot of the quality.
Audio: When it comes to audio, Euro Truck Simulator 2 will not let you down. Some of the sounds are a little far-fetched and hyper-realistic that they cause the game to seem faulty.
Ease of Use: This game really is not as easy to use as many of us will make you believe. For this I will depressingly give the Ease of Use an eight out of ten. The game takes forever to get the hang of and is extremely challenging.
Overall: Overall the gameplay and everything is fantastic. The only issue is the way you play. It is an extreme challenge after the first couple missions to make enough to buy your first truck because you are too busy finding out the controls by the fourth mission. It is a pain. Definitely resulting in a final great (But not perfect!) score of nine out of ten!
