Fans of The Last Guardian finally have something to be pleased about after president of Sony Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida, has finally confirmed via Twitter that the PS4 exclusive title has officially gone gold (going gold means that the game is complete, and is ready to be put on disks for sale).
I’ve waited a very long time to say this… The Last Guardian has gone gold! I’m so excited for you all to finally experience it ˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖

Since 2007, The Last Guardian had been in development for the PS3 by Fumito Ueda, the creative mind behind other titles like Shadow of the Colossus and Ico. But due to Ueda, along with other project members leaving Sony, and other complications like hardware issues, the title was changed to the PS4 instead.
The title was re-revealed at Sony’s E3 conference back in 2015, and then again in 2016.
After suffering some delays, The Last Guardian will be released on December 6, 2016.
