Seed: VVVVVVVV

Platform: Minecraft PE

We are off to a good start with the weirdness that is the VVVVVVVV seed on Minecraft Pocket Edition. Upon spawning in this village seed, you will notice an unusual village just across from you. One part of the village is on top of a mountain, another is in the river and the rest is on the mainland.

The strangest thing of all about this seed is that upon spawning, you must immediately go to the blacksmith of the center of the village. Why? Because it's on fire! If you don't put out the fire in time, the whole village will burn to the ground.

Once you have put out the fire, you are free to explore the village as you please, where you will also find 2 bread loaves, 2 gold ingots and 1 apple.

Seed: 969535336

Platform: PC 1.9

If you are looking to experience a very strange geological formation, then this seed is one to check out.

Seed 969535336 creates a massive column of rising stone pillars with a series of waterfalls and a herd of sheep sitting at its peak. You won't find much in the way of goodies, but if you appreciate the wonder of nature, then this seed is a must.

While nothing is impossible with survival mode, it is definitely advised that you play this seed in creative mode to experience its marvel with ease, becuase if you fell off... well, that just wouldn't be good.

Seed: Dosier

Platform: PC 1.6.4

Is finding your way to The End too much bother? Not with this seed, it isn’t. Not far from the spawning point you will find an underwater bunker that contains a portal that brings you to The End.

All you need to do when you spawn is turn around and head backward. You will come across a coastal village and just off the coast you will find a flat rectangle building just sitting in the ocean. Swim out to it and you are on your way to The End.

Seed: 8913466909937400889

Platform: PC 1.8.1

This seed is definitely one for the scenic explorer. It has all of the biomes that Minecraft has to offer -- all in no more than a radius of two kilometers squared. So if you've ever wanted to experience all the glorious biomes of Minecraft without it taking forever to do so, this is seed you've been looking for. And you'll still be back in time for tea and biscuits!

Seed: 6185261765285097501

Platform: PC 1.9

Ever wanted to experience a story similar to the film Cast Away? If so, this is the perfect seed for you. There are three islands in total, two having animals; one has a single wolf while the other has a lone sheep.

You won’t have a football called Wilson (unfortunately), but you will have two mammal friends to keep you company. That is assuming you don’t eat them first.

Seed: 112204398

Platform: PC 1.7.10

This seed is like the Grand Canyon -- literally. Well, not literally, literally, but it's at least the closest thing you are going to get to the MidWestern wonder in Minecraft.

At the bottom of the seed, you have a naturally formed river surrounded by flat-top mountains, making this seed real case of being in the absolute middle of nowhere. So, if you are like me and want to visit the Grand Canyon without the bother of traveling, just use this seed.

Seed: 62971

Platform: Minecraft PE

If you have ever wanted to experience the sight of a wacky village that just doesn't seem to make any logical architectural sense, then this seed is worth checking out. You have houses on top of houses, along with some farms that are quite unusual too (why the heck are they built like that? Just look at the picture!). There is also a blacksmith in the village where you will find 2 gold ingots, 3 loaves of bread, 2 apples and iron leggings. Not too shabby, but still really weird.

Seed: 5937191756257543795

Platform: PC 1.3.1

This one has probably the weirdest mountain I have ever experienced in Minecraft. As you can see from the picture, it is a massive mountain with a flat front revealing quite a few blocks of coal. There is nothing else quite like it. It is fairly handy for those looking to create their own sculptures, though. So maybe they should call it Monument Mountain?

Seed:  9028489474908844496

Platform: PC 1.3 – 1.7

As far as spectacular scenery goes, it doesn't get much better than this seed. You will find enormous floating mountains and pathways just like shown in the picture above. With some imagination, someone could create something quite spectacular with a naturally spawned formation like this.

Seed: 2447840193895743095

Platform: PC 1.7.4

In this seed, around 100 blocks away from the spawn point you will find something that is quite a sight to behold: a massive stone pillar. And at the top of it is a house nestled comfortably into the stone. With a bit of imagination, you could turn this little house and spire into something quite amazing.

Seed: gargamel

Platform: PC 1.3 – 1.7

This seed is definitely the weirdest when it comes to spawn points. Generally, when spawning into a world, you find yourself in the middle of a jungle or flatland or some form of biome. In gargamel, however, you actually spawn in a cave with a very thin exit. If you manage to survive and find your way out, you will be surrounded by steep mountains and dark pits with monsters ready to eat you.

There you have it, 11 of the weirdest seeds you will find in Minecraft. From spectacular scenery to the strangest villages to easy access to The End, there really are some very strange Minecraft worlds out there. Have fun!
