Assassin’s Creed: Origins not only offers the action-RPG experience that the series is so well-known for but also a whole set of innovative additions to the series’ gameplay and characters.

One such new addition is the leveling system which opens up new skills and abilities for players, helping them defeat tough enemies and open new areas of the map. Follow this quick AC:O guide to find out how to do that efficiently.

How to Level Up Quickly in Assassin’s Creed: Origins

Leveling in Assassin’s Creed: Origins is crucial not only for unlocking new skills but also for progressing through the game’s main missions. Just like other games with RPG elements, the further you go in the game, the higher your level should be. Otherwise, you will not be able to defeat new waves of high-level enemies.

You can also level up your gear and weapons separately by approaching blacksmiths in towns and villages that will improve any of your items for a bit of gold, which is very much recommended.

So in order to get those much-desired XP points as quickly as possible, you need to do the following:

Way #1: Complete Side Quests

There are two things you need to pay attention to here: missions highlighted by exclamation marks and those highlighted by blue icons.

This first side-mission type, indicated by exclamation marks on the map, grants you the most XP points and is the best and quickest way to level up in the game.

The second type, limited community quests, appears as a blue icon on the map. These are often randomized, but they provide a decent amount of experience.

In short: do as many side missions as you can, and you will soon have more than enough XP to unlock all the best abilities in the game.

Way #2: Complete Synchronization Points

Vantage points are the hallmark of the Assassin’s Creed series, and this time, they play an even more important role in the game: they can help you level.

If you’re focusing on completing as many sync points as you possibly can, you will not only reveal the hidden parts of the map (allowing you to fast travel), but you’ll also earn tons of XP points in the process.

Way #3: Earn Assassination Bonuses

You can kill enemies in many different ways in Assassin’s Creed: Origins. The more elaborate the kill, the more XP bonus points you will earn.

To do this, try to approach enemies from behind or jump on them from above. If you can kill enemies without getting detected, you’ll earn even more experience. You can also get extra experience points by shooting enemies in the head with the bow and arrow.

Use these three methods to level up in Assassin’s Creed: Origins and overpower all of your enemies.
