100 Balls is a simple, yet challenging app for iOS and Android devices currently at the top of the charts. The goal is straightforward, release 100 balls into little glass cups without spilling them out of the glasses, all while these glasses are rotating.
Although the goal is quite easy to comprehend, it is sometimes difficult to judge your distance, keep up with the speed of the cups, or even not having enough balls left to keep your glasses from disappearing. Achieving a high score is simple too if you follow these 5 steps.
Practice will increase your accuracy!
Practicing when to release the balls is the most effective way to keep your game going. The only way to do this is to actually play! If you are not good at first don’t let this discourage you from trying. Once you get a grip of the mechanics and the rate at which the balls fall, you will most definitely increase your score and reach a higher level.
Release the balls just slightly before the glass comes under the opening and you’ll increase your chances of hitting the target. Don’t forget that it takes time for the balls to fall so you have to adjust for that as the glasses are spinning.
Release only what’s necessary.
One of the biggest mistakes I made during my first go at trying to catch the balls was that I ran out before all the glasses could get some. If you don’t have at least one ball in a glass the glass gets removed and you don’t have anything to catch with. It could seriously hinder your score!
So, instead you should only release a few balls at a time into the cups below-especially in the beginning when there are few balls released from their starting position. This will help you be more accurate and lose fewer balls as they go around.
Don’t let the glasses pass.
As I stated above if a glass passes the bottom part of the screen without having a ball then it gets removed from the circle. This will impact your score negatively because later the cups change color and having less cups mean having less opportunity to get a high scored color.
Colored glasses and balls come in handy.
The glasses start to change color, from clear to red, blue, or purple for example. These colored cups give you more points per ball you catch in them. Also the balls change color as well so you get extra points by changing them to different colors.
Be attentive to the speed of the glasses.
The glasses start to move faster and faster the longer you “stay alive.” The higher the level the trickier it gets. So make sure you focus and get into a rhythm with your releases. Also going off of what I said earlier don’t hold down the screen too long or you risk losing more balls than necessary.
