Midas’ golden touch is affecting many areas around the Fortnite Myths & Mortals map, including some machines with helpful services. To complete all the Midas Rises quests, you’ll need to purchase some goods, so here are all the vending machine and service station locations.
Where to Find Midas Vending Machines and Service Stations
Midas’ vending machines and service stations are not like any old vending machines. They hold items directly from the Golden King’s vault, like the unvaulted Drum Guns. Plus, the service stations can provide healing on the spot.
These services cost Gold Bars, but to complete the Midas Rises quests, you’ll need to purchase something from three of these machines. Unfortunately, their locations are not provided in our mission brief, so tracking them down can be a bit more complicated. They are scattered around a few different named locations on the map and Gas Stations. Here are a few of the best spots to look:
- Snooty Steppes x2
- Reckless Railways x3
- Grand Glacier x2
- Northwest of Rebel’s Roost
- Northeast of Rebel’s Roost
- East of The Underworld
- Southwest of Lavish Lair
- Lavish Lair
- Southeast of Lavish Lair
- Restored Reels
- Pleasant Piazza
- Fencing Fields
- Southeast of Fencing Fields
- Classy Courts
- Northwest of Classy Courts
- Southwest of Classy Courts
- Northeast of Classy Courts
- East of Classy Courts
- Northeast of Reckless Railways
- Southeast of Reckless Railways
- Southwest of Reckless Railways
- North of Grand Glacier
- East of Brawler’s Battleground
How to Purchase from Midas Vending Machines or Service Stations
Once you land at these locations, look at your mini-map in the right corner of the screen. You can see where the vending machine or service station is located by the icons shown on the map. Both types of machines appear as a small vending machine icon.
After finding one, approach the vending machine or service station and interact by pressing X on Xbox, Square on PlayStation, or E on PC. This will pop up purchase options. The vending machines carry weapons, and the service stations can “patch you up” or open a rift. Any of these options will cost you Gold Bars, so you’ll want to save some up beforehand.
Once you purchase an item from three of these machines, you’ll complete the quest and can continue on to confront Brutus. Even if you aren’t completing the Midas quests, these machines can be useful for getting a better weapon or healing you if you don’t have any medkits or food on you, so keep an eye out for that golden screen!
