In Arena Breakout: Infinite, you will face more than a few enemy AI opponents in your playthroughs. After a few runs, you will have learned the common spots where AI NPCs spawn, but in this game, other players are the real enemy as they are unpredictable, hostile on sight, and looking for every chance to steal your loot and weapons. Learn how to deal with enemy players with the following PvP tips for Arena Breakout: Infinite.
Surviving Against Enemy Players In Arena Breakout: Infinite
New Arena Breakout: Infinite players will think that avoiding getting shot is the first and only way to survive in the game, but paying attention to your surroundings and your character indicators will go a long way in your survival, so pay attention and learn how to be more effective in all your runs.
Use The In-game Audio As A UAV
In Arena Breakout: Infinite, no minimap or skill lets you see where the enemy players are hiding, but you have something close to that. AI soldiers will shoot at enemy players on sight, so chances are you will hear gunshots around you as soon as you spawn.
If you hear gunshots near you, take notice of the direction and check your map to see what buildings or points of interest are in the same direction. That will give you an idea of where enemy players are coming from, allowing you to prepare yourself for a PvP encounter at any time.
Take An Extra Mag
In extraction shooters, there’s no such thing as having enough ammo, as you don’t know how many players or AI you will fight. While playing Arena Breakout: Infinite, I kept running out of ammo after a few fights and had to resort to weapons dropped by AI enemies, putting me at a disadvantage when fighting enemy players.
Grabbing a handful of bullets and an extra mag fixed this issue, and with enough bullets on reserve, you can hide in a corner and reload your mags to keep fighting, so grab 60 bullets or so and put them in your chest rig before you head out to Farm or Valley.
Wait Before Looting An Enemy Player
By now, I’ve died plenty of times while looting an enemy player and, for one simple reason: not waiting for a teammate or another team close by before looting. The default preset when going into a raid in Arena Breakout: Infinite is filling a team, so there’s a good chance that if you encounter a player, his team is nearby.
After killing an enemy player, hide or take a defensive position for a few seconds and pay attention to your audio before you loot, as there might be someone waiting for the perfect opportunity to land a headshot on you.
Don’t Use Full Auto At Anything But Close Range
In most games, using full auto weapons is the norm, and most players can kill the enemy without much trouble, but, in Arena Breakout: Infinite that is not the case. Most weapons you pick up early in the game have little to no attachments, and using full auto to fight at medium distances will end up wasting lots of ammo and making too much noise, alerting NPCs and enemy players.
Switch to semi-auto when possible and be effective with your shots to save all the ammo you can for difficult opponents.
Headshots Are Key To A Fast Kill
Most players I’ve encountered playing Arena Breakout: Infinite do not use face shields, leaving them vulnerable to headshots. Landing headshots on AI NPCs and enemy players is the fastest way of killing them.
In Arena Breakout: Infinite, you will not have to deal with crazy movements like in other shooters, so you can predict your enemy’s movements and prepare to take the perfect shot.
In all my PvP encounters, only one enemy player had a face shield and was resistant to headshots, and if you experience the same, there’s nothing like a few shots to their legs and chest to kill them fast.
Always Carry An Extra Healing Item
Trying to play it safe does not always work, so carrying a few extra healing items is a good safety net if an enemy team is chasing you to get your loot.
Carrying a Surgical Kit is a must in all your runs, as having a broken limb is almost inevitable if you fight many players in your runs.
