Costumes in Assassin’s Creed Mirage are purely cosmetic. They don’t add special skills or perks like outfits do. Indeed, they retain the abilities of the current costume you have equipped. It’s a pseudo transmog of sorts that gives you new threads if you’re tired of assassinating targets in the same ol’ clothes. In this guide, we’ll be going over how to get the Scholar costume in AC Mirage.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage: How to Get Scholar Costume
You can get the Scholar outfit by starting the Al-Jahiz sidequest. You can find Al-Jahiz in the eastern part of the House of Wisdom. He’ll task you with finding all of the Lost Book collectibles hidden throughout the game. There are six in total, and they can be found in each area in Baghdad.

Use your Eagle Vision or Enkidu while you explore the city to smoke them out. However, the easiest way to find them is by going to the Cartographer in the Round City. You can purchase maps that show the location of Lost Books with Scholar Token.
You can get Scholar Tokens by completing the Contract Missions you get inside of the Hidden One’s Bureau. They can also be found in chests or from pickpocketing people around Baghdad. You’ll want to collect a lot of them since purchasing all of the maps will be pricey.
After you collect all six of the Lost Books, head back to the House of Wisdom. Talk to Al-Jahiz and return the books to him. He’ll reward you with the Scholar costume. Again, this has no special effects; it’s purely cosmetic.
