Baldur’s Gate 3: How to Complete the Helsik Ritual Puzzle

If you want to meet up with Raphael in the House of Hope, you’ll need to solve a puzzle in Helsik’s room on the second floor of Devil’s Fee. You could spend thousands of gold to get the required items, but you don’t have to. Here’s how to complete the Helsik Ritual Puzzle in Baldur’s Gate 3 without purchasing all the materials.

How to Complete the Helsik Ritual Puzzle in Baldur’s Gate 3

The Helsik Ritual Puzzle opens a portal to the House of Hope, a particularly difficult area you can find in Act 3.

Go to the Devil’s Fee

This puzzle is located in the Devil’s Fee, where a merchant named Helsik is at the front desk. While you can purchase the required items from her, it’s costly and they can be found on the second floor where the puzzle itself is located. First, you’ll want to head to the place circled on the map below.

Gather Ritual Items

Once you reach the top of the stairs, you’ll find a trap. Using turn-based mode can give you time to lockpick the door and get your party inside before you take too much damage. From here, you’ll begin your scavenger hunt through the rooms. You need five items in total, and their respective locations are included in the list below. The lockpicking DC isn’t that high for any of the gilded chests, so it shouldn’t be an issue.

• Infernal Marble from a chest.
• Diamond from a chest.
• Coin of Mammon from a chest.
• Incense from the fireplace’s mantle.
• Skull from a wooden casket.

Now that you have the puzzle items, you can move to the main room and begin placing them on the bloody symbol you’ll find on the wooden floor. Tactician view helps because it’s easier to see the overall shape and where each item needs to go when you look at it from above. The image below shows the symbol, and I’ve indicated where you want to put your items on it. You’ll know that you’ve done it properly if the portal to House of Hope opens in the middle of the symbol.
