One of 13 Legendary Weapons, Nyrulna is a powerful Trident with unique bonuses, such as returning to you if it’s thrown. Unfortunately, it’s well-hidden and easy to miss during your playthrough if you don’t know what to do or where to look. In that case, here’s how to get Nyrulna in Baldur’s Gate 3.
How to Get Nyrulna in Baldur’s Gate 3
Nyrulna provides perks like immunity to Fall Damage, extra Movement Speed, glowing light, and protection from dropping it in combat.
When You Can Access Nyrulna
First available at the start of Act 3, you find Nyrulna at the Circus of the Last Days in Rivington. Sort of. The weapon itself is hidden inside a locked chest in a jungle, but you get there through the circus. Specifically, you need to win the grand prize for Akabi’s Wheel. But that’s easier said than done when he’s cheating.
How to Win the Wheel’s Prize
First, engage Akabi in conversation or distract him with one party member, then have Astarion sneak behind and pickpocket him. You find a Djinni Ring on him, and that’s what you want to take as it allows him to use Mage Hand to prevent the wheel from landing on the grand prize. After you take the ring, have somebody with a good lockpicking skill talk to him and spin the wheel again.
The wheel lands on the grand prize, and Akabi’s mad that you stopped him from cheating. As a result, he sends you to a jungle where you have to go through the big portal to return. But before you step through the portal, unlock the chest next to the portal and pick up Nyrulna.
And that’s how to get Nyrulna in Baldur’s Gate 3. Overall, it’s not a difficult weapon to get, especially considering how nice it is to have heading into the final act.
