Spell Slots are valuable resources for your casters. Since they’re the key to casting stronger magic instead of Cantrips, it’s important to take rests or find other ways to keep your casters ready to rain fire on the enemies. As such, here’s how to get the Spellcrux Amulet in Baldur’s Gate 3.
How to Get the Spellcrux Amulet in Baldur’s Gate 3
The Spellcrux Amulet has Spell Slot Restoration, which lets you recover an expended Spell Slot. The level of the slot that’s restored is up to you.
As you’re able to restore even a Level 6 Spell Slot with this amulet, it’s worth picking up in Act 2. The restoration can be used once every long rest and costs a Bonus Action if you’re in combat. Additionally, you don’t need to keep the amulet on. You can swap it for a different one while it’s on cooldown.
Kill the Warden in Moonrise’s Prison
Luckily, this item’s hard to miss unless you’re not looting bodies. If you rescue the Tieflings in Act 2 from the Moonrise Towers’ prison, you’ll have to fight the guards and the Warden. You could even fight the Warden early if you want. Just lure her back into her office and kill her to minimize the number of guards that join the battle.
Kill the Warden During the Siege on Moonrise Towers
Otherwise, the Warden joins the fight at the end of the act when after you complete the Gauntlet of Shar. Kill her during the battle, then loot her after for the amulet. No matter which option you choose, she’s simple to defeat since she’s not exactly a boss.
And that’s how to get the Spellcrux Amulet in Baldur’s Gate 3. It’s not the best amulet in the game, but it’s nice to have in case you need an extra Spell Slot during a tough fight.
