How to Revive Gale in Baldur’s Gate 3 (In Case of Death Quest)
In Case of Death requires you to follow specific instructions if you want to revive Gale, with it all starting with the pouch he’s carrying. If you want to solve it on your own, I suggest memorizing the clues or taking screenshots if need be. We’ve got the solutions after the image below.
In Case of Death Solution: How to Revive Gale
Here’s what you need to do to revive Gale in Baldur’s Gate 3:
- Interact with Gale’s pouch in his inventory. Move the thread counter-clockwise.
- Inside, you’ll find a scroll and a flute. The scroll has four letters, starting from the top-left corner and moving clockwise: A -> D -> D -> E.
- Interact with the flute and choose these letters in the following order: D -> E -> A -> D.
- After playing the flute, a demon familiar will appear. You have to guess its correct name: K’ha’ssji’trach’ash. To simplify things, it’s the only option that has “ash” at the end.
By doing the above steps correctly, you’ll receive a Scroll of True Resurrection. You can then cast it on Gale to bring him back to life.
And that’s it. That’s how to revive Gale in Baldur’s Gate 3 through the In Case of Death companion quest. For more tips and tactics, you can visit our BG3 guides hub.
