There are 88 characters in Genshin Impact as of update 4.8. That staggering number of choices means that they all have to share a couple of dozen Artifact sets, as, despite their variety of aesthetic, nationality, and element, you can neatly organize every Genshin character by their role: DPS, sub-DPS, and Support. Finally, don’t worry too much about following the meta or the best-in-slot options for the characters you play. If there’s a different Artifact set that you think works better on your DPS — or whichever role they play — then don’t let anyone tell you to stop using it. The same is true when rolling for limited characters. If you like the design or playstyle of a very off-meta option, then you should totally pull for them.
