Best GBF Relink Support Build: Cagliostro

Best Cagliostro Skills

• Disruption
• Mehen
• Phantasmagoria
• Reinforce
• Rhizomata

Reinforce is the only worthwhile starting skill for Cagliostro, which heals all her allies. I’d definitely pick up Phantasmagoria and Rhizomata later on, as these are two of her best support skills. They empower you and protect your allies from critical conditions. Disruption and Mehen are offensive skills, which can be very useful too.

Best Cagliostro Weapons

• Dream Atlas
• Transmigration Tome

The choice of weapon depends on your interpretation of Cagliostro’s support role. If I wanted to make her a pure supporter, then I’d go for the Dream Atlas weapon. It grants the ability to stun enemies more effectively, creating an opening for more DPS-oriented teammates to quickly finish the job. If you want Cagliostro to be more aggressive, then I highly recommend Transmigartion Tome. This Ascension Weapon has top attack power and an HP boost.

• Steady Focus I-V
• Steel Nerves

When it comes to sigils, I decided to focus on reducing Cagliostro’s cooldown times. This is essential, as she usually casts lots of spells in any battle. Both Steady Focus and Steel Nerves are interconnected and synergistic. I wouldn’t equip one without the other, as they significantly boost her defense.

Best GBF Relink Hybrid Build: Charlotta

Best Charlotta Skills

• Enforcer of Justice
• Invincible
• Sacred Charge
• Sword of Lumiele
• Valiant Stance

This set of skills allows Charlotta to strike a balance between offense, defense, and support. On the one hand, I can deal lots of damage with the Sword of Lumiele and Valiant Stance. But on the other hand, I could just as easily become invincible to attacks and grant all allies extra SBA gauge gain.

Best Charlotta Weapons

• Claidheamh Soluis
• Galatine

I don’t think you’ll be using Galatine much, as it’s Charlotta’s final weapon, albeit super powerful. My build is focused mostly on the Claidheamh Soluis sword, which boosts Charlotta’s attacks. Be sure to awaken it for extra damage and HP gain.

• Holy Knight’s Luster
• Lucky Charge I-V
• Stamina I-V
• Exploiter I-V
• Tyranny I-V

Since Charlotta’s exclusive sigil makes her invincible, I thought it would be a great idea to give her Tyranny. It consumes HP for an extra attack boost, which is perfectly negligible. I also added Stamina and Exploiter to give her extra maneuverability.

Best GBF Relink DPS Build: Lancelot

• Stiller Glanz
• Southern Cross
• Wirbelwind

All these skills concentrate Lancelot’s elemental attacks for maximum damage. I find Wirbelwind especially interesting, as I can plunge into a series of combo attacks right after dodging. This skill with Stiller Glanz can do unimaginable amounts of damage.

Best Lancelot Weapons

• Vegalta
• Damascus Knife

The Damascus Knife is the strongest late-game weapon you can get. But I also picked Vegalta for its extra critical hit rate boost. Here, I need to position myself behind enemies, spamming attacks for extra damage.

Best Lancelot Sigils

• White Dragon’s Oath
• Critical Damage I-V
• Critical Hit Rate I-V
• Damage Cap I-V
• Combo Booster I-V

It’s pretty much clear what kind of sigils Lancelot needs. Everything that deals maximum damage without sacrificing any of his HP. I also went for Combo Booster due to the spammy nature of Lancelot’s attacks.

Best GBF Relink Healer Build: Io

Best Io Skills

• Healing Winds
• Enchanted
• Mystic Vortex
• Gravity Well
• Lightning

Io is the only true healer in the game due to her powerful Healing Winds skill. It encircles all your allies and heals them. Of course, I also had to choose extra skills for defensive purposes that surround her with Mystic Orbs. In this way, I’m sure Io won’t get hurt during battles.

Best Io Weapons

• Gambanteinn
• Caduceus

I can’t stress enough how important it is to keep Io alive, as an entire team depends on her healing abilities. Since Gambanteinn grants the highest HP boost to Io, I didn’t have to think long about her ultimate weapon. In the late game, the Bahamut may drop her final Caduceus weapon.

Best Io Sigils

• Aegis I-V
• Garrison I-V
• Health I-V
• Improved Healing I-V

I specifically omitted Io’s unique sigil from this build, as it doesn’t really add much except a bit of speed to your damage. But this build doesn’t really need that, as I made it exclusively for healing purposes. There’s no other character in GBF Relink who can heal as fast or effectively as Io.

Best GBF Relink Defense Build: Vane

Best Vane Skills

• Breakthrough
• Energy Destruction
• Rampart
• Soul Eruption
• The Dragon Within

The difference between a tank and a defensive role is that the defender needs to look out for others and not just taunt enemies. I consider Vane to be the best defensive character in the game due to his skill set. For example, I can cast Rampart and gain invincibility if I get assaulted by a group of enemies. And in case an enemy tries to break my defense, The Dragon Within will prevent them from doing it.

Best Vane Weapons

• Ukonvasara
• Treuer Krieger

Just like in the case with Cagliostro, the choice of weapon depends on what kind of defender you wish Vane to be. If your goal is to make him more of a critical hit dealer than an average defender, then I’d pick Ukonvasara. But in all other instances, there’s no better option than the universally acclaimed Treuer Krieger.

• Stamina I-V
• Attack Power I-V
• Tyranny I-V
• Cascade I-V

Vane can do so much with his weapon that it’s ridiculous. All these sigils will primarily boost your attack. If you equip his unique sigil, then you’ll get some excellent results on combos. But I highly recommend just focusing on the basic damage sigils for proper usage of Vane’s skills.

Best GBF Relink Tank Build: Percival

Best Percival Skills

• Adrenaline Rush
• Flammenmarsch
• Macht
• Traumerei
• X-Seele

Percival is a real tank, albeit with some terrific DPS capabilities. His Flammenmarsch and Traumerei skills are very important for my tank build, granting Percival and his teammates extra strength. But such a skill as X-Seele is also important, preventing enemies from reaching Percival and dealing damage to him.

Best Percival Weapons

• Lord of Flames
• Gottfried

If you haven’t got his ultimate Gottfried weapon yet, then Lord of Flames would be the next best choice. It’s a powerful sword imbued with fire that boosts all of Percival’s attacks. When equipped with the right sigils, I could land as much as 90%-99% damage on almost any boss.

Since Percival is so strong, I figured his weapon really needs the strongest charge sigils in existence. On top of that, his unique sigil boosts his charge attacks even further, turning him into a real beast in any battle.
