Best Chest Farming Locations in Palworld

Chests are scattered all throughout Palpagos Islands. They’re the easiest sources of great loot, including Gold, resources, Schematics, and keys. In this guide, I’ll show you where to find the best Chest farming locations in Palworld, so you can stock your inventory quickly.

Do Chests Respawn in Palworld?

Chests do respawn in Palworld. This goes for most items and NPCs, such as Eggs, Bosses, and Merchants. I haven’t been able to nail down a specific amount of time that the respawn takes. But in my experience, you’ll need to wait more than one in-game day. That said, you can always speed things up by changing the day/night timer in your World Settings.

Do note, the rarity of the Chest is randomized. You might loot a Red Chest in one spot and return to find a Purple one in its place.

Best Spots to Farm Chests in Palworld (With Maps and Coordinates)

Marsh Island

This farming location consists of three Chests that you’ll loot in a flat, straight line. Since it’s a coastal area, you won’t need to bother with cliffs or hard-to-reach structures. It’s also close to the Marsh Island fast travel point at 431, -345, which makes this spot easy to return to from the comfort of your base.

For the first Chest in this trio, head to 410, -382 pictured above.

Afterward, head down until you reach a large boulder-like rock with trees. The chest is located at 385, -393. See it on the map pictured above.

The last one takes you across two small strips of water to 326, -401. Once you loot it, you can return to the fast travel statue and check in on this spot regularly for respawns.

Small Settlement

If you’d like a spot with two Chests close together, head to the Small Settlement at 74, -486 and fly west to -21, -525. Here, you’ll find two secluded Chests. The first is on the raised rock and the other just below on the cliffside ledge. This is a good spot to farm if you don’t want to deal with Rayne Syndicate enemies or aggressive high-level Pals.

No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary

Similar to the Marsh Island spot, these four chests will take you in nearly a straight line. What makes this a great farming spot is that the Wildlife Sanctuary is a condensed zone and it’s not as populated with trees compared to other areas, making it easy to spot the chests from afar. A flying mount or high Stamina for climbing would help, though, as you do need to get to different levels. To start, head to the nearest fast travel point at -543, -28.

The first chest is located on a metal structure sticking out of the water at -634, -77.

Then head to the edge of the Wildlife Sanctuary for a chest at -653, -93.

Close by, the third chest is out in the open at -664, -110.

The final chest is the more difficult one, though. You’ll need to climb or fly to the raised level. You’ll loot it at -679, -129.

Astral Mountains

For the absolute best Chest farming location, you’ll need to head to the Astral Mountains. Here, you’ll find a tall structure where four chests spawn in a circle. I’ve also found that the rarity is usually pretty good. The last time I checked, three purple-colored Chests and one Gold Chest had spawned. It’s located at -79, 194. I recommend building one of your bases here for the easiest way to return. However, there’s a fast travel statue nearby at -36, 94.
